The Mabolela Primary School in Rocklands, Bloemfontein, has ho­noured seven learners for their academic excellence.

The achievers each received trophies and certificates at the school’s year-end function held on Friday, 10 November.

The learners attained improved results in the different subjects in their grades.

The seven learners topped their peers in their grades and scooped up 30 trophies between them for their individual consistent performances throughout the year.

Ayanda Dali (Gr. 1) attained first positions in Life Skills, Mathematics and Sotho, and attained a second position in English.

Sibulele Wittes (Gr. 2) attained first positions in English, Life Skills and Sotho, while in Mathematics he received a third position.

Samantha Coetzee (Gr. 3) attained second positions in Sotho and a third position in Life Skills.

Thatohatsi Mano (Gr. 4) attained first positions in Life Skills, Mathematics and Sotho, a second position in Social Science and a third position in English.

Sibusiso Jantjie (Gr. 5) achieved first positions in Life Skills, Sotho and Social Science, a second position in Mathematics and a third position in Natural Science.

Siphesimanye Kalo (Gr. 6) attained first positions in English, Life Skills, ­Mathematics, Natural Science and Social Science, and a second position in Sotho.

Tshwarelo Molefi (Gr. 7) attained first position in Economic Management Science, Life Skills, Natural Science, Sotho, Social Science and Technology.
