Artist not founder

2018-11-28 06:00

In the edition of Express of Wednesday, 14 November, in a story on page two with the headline “Artworks sketch view on reality” it was mentioned that Pauline Gutter is the founder of the Free State Art Collective.

It is in fact Karen Brusch who is the founder of the Free State Art Collective.

Brusch is also the former director of Gallery MOMO in Johannesburg.

Pauline Gutter is a renowned Free State-based and South African painter.

Gutter is the 2013 winner of the Absa L`Atelier competition.

Express regrets the error and inconvenience this may have caused.

Brusch and Gutter were part of the judging panel in the 2018 Phatshoane Henney New Breed Art Competition.
