It has been announced that Bloem Show 2019 will be held from 26 April to 4 May. The forthcoming event will mark the milestone of 135 years of existence. Elmarie Prinsloo, Bloem Show’s chief executive officer, said that plans were afoot for the event, despite dire socio-economic challenges. She was, however, confident that next year’s show would be exciting and jam-packed over nine days. “After a very successful Bloem Show 2018, we are looking forward to once again entertaining visitors with a great variety of exhibitors, artists and agricultural activities,” said Prinsloo. The 2019 theme for Bloem Show is “Super heroes at a Super Bloem Show”. According to Prinsloo, the event annually attracts over 100 000 people who contribute towards the economy of the Free State capital of Bloemfontein. “Bloem Show is one of the highlights on the social and agricultural calendar in central South Africa. This showpiece event attracts customers and visitors from around the country, as well as an average of 400 local, national and international exhibitors – a wonderful economic injection for our region,” said Prinsloo. She said visitors could expect several new action-packed forms of entertainment, as well as a fully-booked agricultural programme with several national championships that would be decided. The booking of exhibition spaces can already be done. For information contact the Bloem Show office by dialling 051-448-9894 or visit www.bloemshow.co.za.
