High level clouds. Mild.
Little patients at the Kimberley Hospital Complex bounce with joy when Sparkles visits them. The photo was taken during a visit on Wednesday (18/01) morning. The entertaining performance was meant to encourage children to take their medication, but the aim was also to cheer them up. Sparkles read to the children from story books and also did several performances with toys, before handing the young patients balloons upon her departure. Her visit was welcomed to such an extend that the parents and doctors also surrounded the visitor, happily singing, cheering and clapping along. Photo: Boipelo Mere
