Enthusiastic owners of viable, black-owned businesses owners who want to accelerate the success of their small business are invited to enter the SAB Foundation’s 2018 Tholoana Enterprise Programme for a two-year period.

The programme promises businesses significant potential to grow and make a positive contribution to the economy, by professional business development support.

More than 100 emerging entrepreneurs in all nine provinces are reported to have had their success accelerated through this business support programme, which has been implemented by business growth professionals Fetola, beginning in 2015.

Bridgit Evans of the SAB Foundation explains in a statement that they are looking for the best of the best to apply to support the growth of South Africa’s most exceptional entrepreneurs who are passionate and determined to succeed. A total of 60 small business owners stand the chance of taking their businesses to the next level through this programme.

Applications are particularly invited from businesses working in new and growing sectors such as export, manufacturing, food processing, water, energy and waste management.

Women, youth and entrepreneurs with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

If a business has been in operation for at least six months and less than five years, it may be considered.

If selected, participants have access to two years of practical support including master mentors, applied business-skills workshops, access to markets, brand building and investment-readiness support.
