TRAINING provided by the Sol Plaatje Chess Club will start on Wednesday (17/02) at the No. 5 taxi rank and members of the community are invited to register.

The classes will continue to be presented every Wednesday from 16:00 until 18:00.

The team will prepare for the South African Open Chess Tournament that is expected to be hosted around June or July in Port Elizabeth.

People interested in joining the club will be required to pay a membership fee of R20 for adults and the working class, while students and children will have to pay R10.
