The School Governing Body (SGB) of the Navalsig High School will host the quarterly cleaning campaign of the premises following a successful launch on 21 March.

The cleaning campaign, “All Hands on Deck” will be held on 11 May in which SGB members, parents, learners and teachers will be involved.

Modupe Lekekela, SGB financial chairperson, said to learn and work in a conducive way is part of human rights.

“The right to live, learn and work in a clean environment has been neglected and the cleaning campaign aims at restoring that right which goes with the right to learn and to quality education.

“Participation is voluntarily and we need active involvement of everyone who is part of the school to make it a success,” said Lekekela.

Lekekela said by involving parents, teachers and learners good interactive relations are built.
