The football double-header at Botshabelo’s Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium featuring four clubs campaigning in the Free State’s ABC Motsepe League will be a huge attraction for fans on Saturday (09/11).

These fixtures are sanctioned by the South African Football Association.

The first match of the double-header will see Bloemfontein Young Tigers taking on Super Eagles at 13:00.

The second match of the day is between De General and Mphatlalatsane United at 15:00.

De General, Tigers and Eagles are among the potential title challengers.

The Tigers side has a tough task against the Bethlehem-based Eagles team, which is unbeaten in the league, along with the Central University of Technology.

The Eagles side will fight to retain its clean record in this eagerly awaited fixture which could see a twist in the championship contest.

A victory for Eagles will extend the team’s unbeaten run to seven and propel it to the second position on the log.

A win for Tigers will see the side claim the third position on the log.

The Tigers side is currently in fourth position, with Eagles in the third following a 4 – 1 hammering by Harmony in a mid-week fixture played in Bethlehem on Wednesday (30/10).

De General from Botshabelo has great potential to consolidate its current second position with a win over Mphatlalatsane, the visiting side.

The team has gone five matches without a loss since the 0 – 1 defeat against log leaders Mangaung Unite in the opening league fixture of the season in September.

CUT, in fifth place, will be gunning to stretch its unbeaten record to eight in a derby against Questus on Friday (08/11) at the CUT sports complex.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
