This follows after Mangaung claimed maximum points in a derby against rivals Bloemfontein Young Tigers, recording a narrow 1 – 0 win. The 2017-’18 Free State champions of the ABC Motsepe League would look to continue their onslaught against Kovsies.Victory would ensure Mangaung retain at the helm and hoping to continue their winning form until the end of the season and ultimately win the competition played under the auspices of the South African Football Association (Safa).Kovsies are gunning to end Mangaung’s winning streak notable with winning all five matches in a row. The Bloemfontein outfit tops the log with 15 points with a superior goal tally, nine goals. Breathing under their scuff is Welkom-based Harmony, who also have 15 points and boast an unbeaten run in the league.Sibanye Golden Stars are in third place with ten points, while newcomers Small Tigers from Qwaqwa are fourth with eight points. The two would look to consolidate their positions in their fixtures on Saturday.
