DA calls on DG

2018-12-12 06:02

The DA in the Northern Cape confirmed that they wrote a letter to Premier Sylvia Lucas, inviting Director-General (DG) Justice Bekebeke to call a meeting with senior management staff to meet the DA.

This comes after the DG allegedly instructed head of departments of ministries, chief financial officers and deputy directors-general earlier to attend a meeting at the provincial ANC office.

Northern Cape DA leader Andrew Louw says the DG acted in accordance with the instruction of the provincial secretary of the ANC, using state resources.

The DA threatens to refer the premier and DG to the Public Service Commission.
