The DA’s candidate Nicholas Muller won in this hotly contested by-election in Kroonstad held on Wednesday (21/11). He contested against Tsie Isaac Borole of the ANC, Lebohang Patrick Mosia of the EFF and Annemarie Elizabeth Jordaan of the Vryheidsfront Plus. The ward became vacant due to the death of the former councillor who represented the DA.
