Dine for heritage

2017-09-20 06:02

Join the longest dining table in the Free State and take a journey of culinary exploration at the Sun Windmill on Heritage Day on Sunday (24/09).

Paying homage to the diversity of tastes and flavours that make up South African cuisine, Sun Windmill’s Heritage Day La Banquet will feature dishes inspired by cuisines from six different countries.

These include South Africa, Greece, Portugal, China, France and India.

The food adventure will also include vibrant entertainment for the whole family including drummers, dancers and musicians, as well as face painters, water slides and magicians for the little ones.

“We are treating food enthusiasts to a taste adventure of the exciting cuisines that have influenced South African food. Guests can explore different dishes and enjoy spectacular entertainment while seated at the longest banquet table in the Free State,” says Kamo Mohapi, Windmill public relation and promotions coordinator.

Join the feast at the Heritage Day La Banquet at Windmill Boulevard at 12:30.

The cost is R150 for adults and R75 per child and includes a sumptuous spread and fantastic family-styled entertainment.

Booking is essential and can be done at Computicket.
