The Raubex Group’s donation of personal protective equipment (PPE), in the form of face masks, was made to the Pelonomi Regional Government Hospital in Bloemfontein and not the Netcare Pelonomi Private Hospital, as Express reported in last week’s issue (13/05). From the left are Dr Alicia Ferris, Jaco Louw (Raubex Group), Dr André Loubser, Dr Alicia Glover and Dr Lincoln John Solomon. According to Louw, the donation was made by the company in direct response to the clarion call of the World Health Organisation (WHO) for private entities to aid governments around the world by donating PPE gear following shortages in the wake of the global Covid-19 outbreak.
