Drivers urged to be patient with work done on the N12 Road

2017-11-22 06:01

Road users are requested to be vigilant and patient at all times, as the resurfacing of the N12 Road, Section 10, between Riverton and Windsorton is underway.

A single-lane stop and go system is in place and drivers are urged to adhere to the speed limit and to maintain a safe following distance, as well as to follow the directional signage throughout the project area.

The project includes the repair of pavement defects and the pre-treatment and resealing of approximately 26 km of road to improve the riding quality for road users, and is envisaged to be completed towards the middle of 2018.

Ancillary work on the road done by the South African National Roads Agency (Sanral) includes the upgrading of rest areas and the upgrading of intersections and access roads.
