Drug dealers behind bars

2018-05-30 06:01

Two drug dealers were sentenced to six and four years’ imprisonment respectively by the De Aar Magistrate’s Court on 22 May.

Mzukisi Peterson (39) and Sipho Sethu Kube (24) was sentenced without the option of paying a fine.

According to Lt Col Dimakatso Mooi, police spokesperson, the sentencing follows their arrest for dealing in Mandrax in October 2017.

The sentencing was welcomed by Brig. Nomahlubi Sofika, cluster commander of the Pixley ka Seme District.

Sofika said the meticulous and thorough investigation done by WO Tony Tromp ensured that the drug dealers did not escape imprisonment.
