Enroll at CBS

FOUNDED in 1994, Castle Bridge School’s (CBS) long history with Bloemfontein and the community it serves, is evidenced by the sheer number of professionals and alumni around the world whose roots are firmly established at the school.

In recent times the school in Willows unfortunately went through a downward spiral, and was on the verge of closing its doors after nearly 20 years. Inspired and motivated by a need to nurture and mould tomorrow’s leaders, a new patron stepped in to assist. With significant investment and a change in management, the school is already back on its feet and galloping towards educational excellence.

Castle Bridge is a combined school accommodating Grade R’s right through to Grade 12 students.

In addition to spacious sports fields, the school has beautiful classroom blocks that have just undergone a colourful makeover.

It also boasts two well-stocked libraries to accommodate all phases of learning.

The school principal, Mr Raletebele Daniels, has rooted a strong culture of reading, as he believes in creating avid readers who can equip themselves with in-depth knowledge.

Students also benefit from the two comprehensive computer labs and a media centre where Computer Appliance Technology is taught in addition to other IT literacy programmes. Science experiments undertaken in the science lab are always a blast.

The school’s busy sports programme includes soccer, rugby, netball and cricket.

CBS also presents a revue which is a type of multi-act popular theatrical entertainment that combines music, dance and sketches. Students competitively participate in debates and other public speaking events, drama, creative writing and poetry.

Admissions for 2016 are now open with a streamlined application process that ensures that registration and admission is seamless.
