Entries for prestigious pageant now open

Entries are open for the prestigious title of Mrs Commonwealth South Africa. Married women aged 25 to 55 are allowed to take part.

The focus of the pageant is to bring wealth to the community and the contestants while they go on an exciting journey during their time as Finalists. The winner of the pageant will be expected to compete internationally next year.

The pageant’s main aim is to empower women with the knowledge to inspire and motivate other women and to cultivate sustainable change in the country.

PinkDrive, the breast cancer awareness initiative, is the official non-profit organisation that will benefit from this year’s pageant. Last year, in which the 2017 pageant contestants raised R320 000.

Free introductory workshops will be taking place across the country in February.

The final will take place at the Gold Reef City Casino in the Lyric Theatre on 12 October.
