The University of the Free State’s (UFS) Department of Drama and Theatre Arts present the children’s theatrical production Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The production will be performed in English on the campus in Bloemfontein from 17 to 24 March.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a classic story about an evil queen who will do anything in her power to remain the most beautiful woman in the kingdom.

Every morning, she would stand in front of her mirror and say: “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?”

The Magic Mirror always answered: “You are the fairest of them all,” but one day the Magic Mirror said something that enraged the queen.

This is the story of Snow White, who has to flee the kingdom to save her life.

A huntsman decides to help Snow White and he leaves her on the doorstep of a little house.

When she decides to enter the little house, she sees seven little beds and meets seven little men who will change her life.

Thembisile Baai and Jeanette Badenhorst play the main characters in the production.
