Fans can have their say in cup

2019-06-19 06:01

For the 2019 Carling Black Label Cup, football fans are afforded another chance to show their knowledge of the game in this competition that features Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

Fans are encouraged to participate by choosing “game-changers” from a selection of seven that will impact the rules of the game.

These “game-changers” will give fans more control of the match through technological advancements, format changes and more power to further evolve the game.

Three of the game-changers are linked to social media. This will enable fans who vote to select substitutions, the man of the match and the team captain on Twitter. Fans can also vote for the match officials to wear a microphone on the field of play.

All the possible game changers are: fourth substitution for goal keeper, fans select the captain, Twitter selects a substitution, rolling substitutes, Yellow card timeout, Twitter selects man of match and mic on the referee.

Fans can enter by purchasing a selected product of beer and dialing *120*660* unique code # to enter. Entry is 20c per 20 seconds on USSD.
