The second annual Easter Festival is free and aimed at uniting the community to build stronger lives, stronger families and a stronger community.

The event, to be hosted by the Potters House Christian Fellowship Church at the Boys High School on Sunday (01/04), promises something for the entire family.

According to the organiser, Past. Naaman Struck, they are expecting the festival to be an even greater success than last year’s event.

“We will have a worship service at 10:00 to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, with the theme ‘Because he lives, you can face tomorrow’,” he said.

“A powerful message of hope can be expected. The same power that raised Christ from the dead can raise our community out of rejection, addiction and depression.”

A prayer session for spiritual deliverance and physical healing will also be held.

“At 12:00, the family festival will start.

“Food and fun activities will be provided for people of all ages,” Struck said.

“The small ones can look forward to an Easter Egg hunt, while the brave at heart can prepare themselves for competitive sports.”

At 16:00, a talent show will be held to display Kimberley’s hidden talent.
