The Mangaung Arts Festival (MAF), is billed to offer amazing music taste with the hosting of the Music Concert on 4 April in Bloemfontein.

This an ongoing promotion of art diversity in the Mangaung region.

The Music Concert is set to take place at the Bloemfontein Visitors Information Centre, opposite the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court.

This will be the third show by MAF following the Poetry Show held on 27 February and the Comedy Show held on 5 March. Local acts were the main attraction.

Khonzeka Tyindyi, coordinator of the MAF, said the MAF benchmark is to create a platform that brings together local artists to showcase their passion and talent through shows.

“This is an outdoor concert that will feature some of the best local and established artists. Musicians have been selected due to relevance, having a good crowd following, talent and quality music, as well as the ability to offer good performances,” said Tyindyi.

The line-up include hip-hop acts Farm Boy, Katara, MC Fire, Thembile Thembile and Afro-jazz singer Khuthala.

“These talented artists offer the authentic township experience,” said Tyindyi.

Provision will be made for crafts exhibitions as part of promoting the rich art diversity.

The public will be informed if the event is postponed due to the spread of the coronavirus.

Call Tyindyi on 081-206 3504.
