THE Sol Plaatje Local Football Association (SPLFA)is ready to put forward a candidate to represent them in the Francis Baard South African Local Football Association (Salfa) as is expected by the region.

They have also committed to make their side of the story known to the public regarding their decision to stage a protest in the Savoy Hotel on Saturday, 23 July, when ten members were elected.

According to the SPLFA, they have to comply and send their nomination to the congress in an effort to avoid disciplinary hearings.

They are still hoping that their issues would be resolved through engagements with the mother body (Safa), or at national level, if that is what it takes.
