Football galore awaits fans

SuperSport will broadcast over 400 matches during the holiday break.

The highlights will be the UEFA Champions League and the fixture between German team Bayern Munich and English side Tottenham Hotspur, on 11 December (SS6).

Mourinho has inspired his team to two wins, 3 – 2 over West Ham United and Bournemouth, before losing by 1 – 2 to former side Manchester United.The UEFA Europa League outing between Manchester United and Dutch side AZ Alkmaar on December 12 (SS3) is another intriguing tie to watch and the El Clasico, the traditional showdown between Barcelona and Real Madrid on 18 December (SS7 and Select 4).

Also included is the Carabao Cup quarter­final and semi-final games on 17 and 18 December, with the first-leg semi-finals on 6 January and the second-leg play-offs on 27 January.

The FA Cup restarts early in 2020 with round three on the weekend of 4 January and round four on the weekend of 25 January.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) sees local action of the Telkom Knockout final between Maritzburg United and Mamelodi Sundowns on 14 December (SS4). Other PSL league matches will be on live before the festive recess.
