The Potter’s House Christian Fellowship Ministries in Kimberley will once more host a free for all Easter festival at the sports fields of the Kimberley Boys’ High School.

The festival, to be held on Sunday, 1 April, promises to bring the Kimberley community together to celebrate Christ and family.

Businesses are requested to donate merchandise or gift vouchers to be awarded as prizes in the sports activities, the kids Easter egg hunt and the talent show.

A service will be held at 10:00 to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, with live worship and a message of hope. Past. Naaman Struck said a water baptism would conclude the service for those wanting to be baptised.

He added that the family fun fair, to celebrate the public holiday, Family Day, would start at 12:00.

“The family fun fair will include food and entertainment for all ages, for free and open to the entire community,” said Struck.

For the kids there will be an Easter egg hunt, face painting, jumping castles and game booths. For the youth, there will be competitive team events such as tug-of-war, relay races, dodge ball and capture-the-flag.

“This is an open invitation to high school learners to represent their school, as prizes will be awarded.”

At 16:00 there will be a talent show. Local artists are invited to register.
