The Botshabelo Kilimanjaro male vocal group has received its fourth nomination for the South African Traditional Music Achievement (Satma) Awards. Its nomination for 2019 is in the category Best A Cappella (Isicathamiya Album), one of the 36 categories of the competition, which promotes traditional and cultural music. This is the only Free State group shortlisted for the competition. It is the fourth time in a row the group is nominated for a Satma award. The group got the nod in 2015, 2017 and 2018. The Botshabelo-based group is yet to win its first award since its formation in 2005. The group has been nominated alongside the Young Singers and Ndebele Brothers. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the at Mmabatho Convention Centre in Mahikeng on Saturday (28/09).Ntsoaki Motloung of Lesedi FM is a nominee in the category Best Traditional Radio Presenter of the Year and vies with 11 presenters.
