PHATSHOANE HENNEY ATTORNEYS continue to raise the bar. The firm is the recipient of the prestigious award for best Free State law firm.

This year is the fifth consecutive time the law firm has been honoured with the PMR Diamond Arrow Award as the best law firm in the Free State.

This follows a provincial survey of Free State law firms by independent reviewing agency Professional Management Review.Africa (PMR.Africa).

The coveted award follows an independent provincial survey by PMR.Africa with ratings based on the perceptions of a sample of 110 respondents comprising CEO’s, MD’s, business owners, company directors and managers, as well as senior government officials based in the Free State.

They all nominated and rated firms against certain specific attributes or criteria:

  • Companies or institutions that have done the most to enhance economic growth and development of the province;
  • levels of managerial expertise;
  • implementation of corporate governance;
  • brand awareness; and
  • levels of innovation.

From 2012 to 2015, Phatshoane Henney Attorneys have annually been rated highest of all Free State law firms, receiving the much sought after PMR.Africa Diamond Arrow Award.

By scoring 4.20 out of a possible 5.00 this year, the law firm has once again been ranked number one, which declares the firm as “outstanding” according to the PMR.Africa official rating criteria.

“Receiving this prestigious award five years in a row reflects how the firm continuously sets the standard and is receiving recognition as a new breed of law firm.

“We care about our clients, our staff and our community. This is reflected in our attention to employing the best, our client service, being innovative, being ethical, setting high standards and being transformed – so ensuring that we are the legal provider of choice for our clients,” says Jan Berry, chief executive officer.

“However, without our clients’ support, we would not have been able to receive such an award.

“The directors of Phatshoane Henney Attorneys express their sincere thanks to each client for their positive feedback and loyalty and we reaffirm our commitment to always strive to set the standard in our service to you.”
