The Glen College of Agriculture centenary celebrations continues with the Free State government hosting about 3 132 alumni who graduated from the institution. The celebratory occasion is scheduled for Friday (26/07) at the college. Established in 1919, it is amongst the oldest agricultural colleges in the country. About 700 guests, including the group of alumni, farmers, students and stakeholders in the agricultural sector are expected to attend. Centenary celebrations started in June with a rugby tournament featuring the different agricultural colleges in South Africa, and the honouring of long-serving employees at the college.
