FREE STATERS continued to make the most of Nelson Mandela Day by reaching out to the less fortunate.

The highlight was on 18 July, the birthday of the South African statesman who died in December 2013.

On Mandela Day and during celebrations through the month, many people dedicated their 67 minutes to doing good deeds.

In several areas within the Mangaung Metro, celebrations took place in the form of good deeds.
