The Mohlakeng Acapellas will be hosting its third Thabela Hoba Motjha show (Youth Pride) at the Windmill Casino’s Diamond Lil’s in Bloemfontein on 17 November.

Originating from the Free State town of Allanridge, the talented male vocal singers are renowned for excellent performances.

The show was first launched in 2014. It has gradually grown in stature, attracting large crowds. This year’s show will be over three hours long.

The Mohlakeng Acapellas has shared the stage with national and international acclaimed artists, including The Soil, Micasa, Rulfgum, Cassper Nyovest, Press, Maleh, Prince Kaybee, Budaza, Tshepo Tshola, Judith Sephuma and Ringo.

The group has also featured at various competitions in the Free State and other provinces.

It has also performed at big festivals such as the annual Mangaung African Cultural Festival, the Tikwe Jazz Festival and Bloem Show.

The group has recorded three singles. These songs, composed by them, will be performed at the Youth Pride Show. Tickets cost R100 at the casino.
