PHUTHADITJHABA. – Puseletso Keele (34) wants to bring the 2016 Mrs South Africa crown to the Free State, specifically Qwaqwa, but she needs your votes to achieve that.

Keele, who was born in the dusty village of Namahadi, has done everything against all odds and she is gunning for the top prize. She has made it to the top-100 semi-finalists of the Schwarzkof Professional Mrs South Africa Pageant.

To vote for her, visit the Mrs South Africa Facebook page and press “like”. After that, scroll down and click “like” by Keele’s picture.

The semi-finalists expect to enjoy their reign and use their influence to raise funds for charity during March and April in anticipation of the announcement of the top-25 finalists at the Cansa gala dinner which is set to take place on 29 April at Emperor’s Palace.

The motivated Keele is determined to win the 2016 title and she is calling on people to support her with their votes. She says she is proud to be representing the Free State and Qwaqwa in the national competition.

“I am still asking for those votes, because it is through the people’s choice that I can go as far as the final,” she says.

Keele, who is a mother of three children, says she was never discouraged by the fact that she is a mother.

This is not the first time that she is taking part in a contest, but it is her first as a professional.

“I am forever thankful. This is more than a beauty pageant, it is a women empowerment programme,” she says.

Keele is currently living in Mondeor in Johannesburg. She is a business woman and a Marketing student.
