THE Virginia police request the public’s assistance in finding the family of Robert Ngwenya. He was reportedly admitted to the Bongani Regional Hospital in Welkom on 16 July, where he was treated for severe burn wounds all over his body.

Sgt Mamello Mokhuoane, spokesperson for the Thabong Police Cluster, said Ngwenya was in a critical condition and was unable to provide details of his origin and family. She said the people from whom Ngwenya had rented a backroom in Bambo in Virginia have no information. He reportedly died on 5 August. Anyone with information about Ngwenya’s family can contact Det. WO Jaco van Rensburg on 082-301-3062.
