Liverpool ready to attack Hungry Lions

The Northern Cape Liverpool soccer team proved to be the best of the best during the Nedbank Knockout Competition which took place in Olifantshoek on 20 and 21 October.

The team won three matches and will go on to play against Postmasburg’s Hungry Lions on 11 November in the ABC Motsepe League.

  • The results for the games played are as follows: Northern Cape Liverpool 1 – 0 Olifantshoek Young Stars; ) Northern Cape Liverpool 2 – 0 Kuruman Kicks; ) Northern Cape Liverpool 3 – 0 United Rovers; ) Kuruman Kicks 1 – 0 William Pescod; and) Magareng Young Stars 5 – 0 Maru­ping United.

Liverpool’s team manager, Vuyisile Ngo, said he believes the next game against Postmasburg Hungry Lions will be very tough.

He is happy about the performance of the players in the Knockout Competition and believes that the players will repeat their good performance.
