BLOEMFONTEIN. Z As the country prepares to invade Bloemfontein for an action-packed, activity-filled musical experience, soccer lovers know it is that time of the year again Z time to watch the anticipated Sparta Macufe Cup.

This game will take place at the Free State Stadium on Sunday, 9 October.

Kick-off will be at 15:00.

The Sparta Macufe Cup, said to be the highlight of the Mangaung African Cultural Festival (Macufe), is set to unite soccer fanatics from across the country.

Kaizer Chiefs will be bringing their A-game this year.

They are as determined as ever to make sure that this will be the year in which they take the Macufe Cup and reclaim victory.

The reigning champs for 2012 to 2015, Bloemfontein Celtic, will however play to ensure that the cup remains in the City of Roses once again.

These two teams will be going head to head not only to see who will walk away with the Macufe Cup and title of Sparta Macufe Cup 2016 winners, but also to give their fans a game worth watching.

When the whistle blows at 15:00, fans can expect an action-packed game.

This game is the perfect way to end Macufe – uniting all through the spirit of soccer.
