They have the capability, the attitude and the will; now the PMG Butterflies netball team has also been given wings to fly.
The PMG Butterflies club has 22 members with the strong vision to grow their club into a regional force.
The club is affiliated with the ZFM Netball League and seven of its players have been drafted for the provincial side.
One player, Camilla Nkadimang, is currently a member of the national professional league.
The Kolomela Mine recently donated playing kit and cash to support this emerging netball club.
Kumba Iron Ore, a business unit of Anglo American aims to improve the well-being and health of the community by supporting sports clubs and facilities.
The PMG Butterflies team members organise fund-raising initiatives for the club, and sell braai packs and hotdogs during sporting events to ensure the sustainability of their club.
