THE High Fashion Vintage Circus Runway Show was successfully hosted by eModels Kimberley in celebration of their first birthday at their premises in Rhodesdene on Saturday, 20 August.

Lights, camera and action were displayed by at least 32 models from eModels Kimberley when they showed off their modelling talent on the high-fashion runway show under the theme of Vintage Circus.

About 150 guests, who were welcomed with traditional circus treats, popcorn and candy floss, attended the spectacular runway show, giving standing ovations as the models did their Paris walk.

Models from the age of 4 to 27 years old modelled four different outfits on the night.

The models left the audience speechless with their first outfit, themed Circus, which they had to put together themselves.

The second range was sponsored by The Hub at the Diamond Pavilion Mall, while the third was a formal outfit sponsored by Blueroom Brides, Patels, Orijinel, M Dresses and Alida’s Boutique.

The male models wore suits from Ebbies Fashion House. The show-stoppers of the night was an all-red outfit selected by themselves.

The show saw guests being entertained during garment changes by performances from members of the Rhythmia Gymnastics Club and Dynamix Dances.

eModels Kimberley was started in August 2015.

The franchise agency was taken over by Mandy and Natascha de Klerk, with the help of Elani Ross, in June 2016.

According to the statistics, the agency’s model count has doubled, including its Facebook page likes.

Amongst their success stories are Mitah Tlhopane, who is ambassador for Mimosa Mall Bloemfontein and was scouted to join D&A Model Management.

Palesa Masiu became an ambassador for M Dresses Bloemfontein, while Michaela Roets won Miss Preteen Northern Cape.

Michaela (11) and Laroche’s Doherty’s (12) photos were sent to agencies in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Stephanie Crafford, Mitah and Monalic Medupe were part of the Free State Fashion Week in Bloemfontein.

Mandy de Klerk further revealed that five of their models auditioned and went through to the International Talent Search hosted by Just You Talent and Model management in Johannesburg, for singing, dancing, acting and modelling.

Natascha de Klerk and Muriel Hayward went to New York and Florida to model in front of scouts from overseas talent agencies.

Michaela, Mitah and Laroche got scouted by ICE Models in Bloemfontein.

Louis Koloku was on Radio RTS FM speaking about his modelling career.
