Music event will bring on the heat

2017-11-29 06:00

Metro FM Heatwave Kimberley is expected to bring the City of Diamonds to a complete standstill on 16 December, with the hottest line-up being offered at the De Beers Stadium.

The event will be hosted by radio and TV personalities Somizi Mhlongo and Pearl Modiadie.

The line-up is expected to feature some of the hottest musical talent in the country and Kimberley, including the likes of Fistaz Mixwell, Moozlie, MsCosmo, Ryan the DJ, VJ Nutty, DJ Jawz, Lerato Kganyago, Roger Goode, Tribalculture, Reason, LootLove and Thando Thabethe. Appearances will be made by some of Metro FM’s on-air talent like Dineo Ranaka, Amon Mokoena and Ismail Abrahams.

The Metro FM Heatwave Kimberley has proven itself by becoming one of the most important events to be seen in Kimberley since it was first hosted in 2015, thus organisers expect the number in revellers to grow this year.

Tickets for the one-day event are available at Computicket at R200, and cost R250 at the gate. VIP tickets cost R600, which includes access to a cash bar and private lounge, while VVIP tickets cost R3 000 for corporate packages.

It has been confirmed that no cooler boxes will be allowed after 18:00 at the event.

  • Express Northern Cape will be giving away two double tickets to two lucky winners in collaboration with Metro FM Heatwave Kimberley.
