New app tracks posted parcels

2016-08-24 06:00

THE South African Post Office (Sapo) has launched a free app to enable customers to keep track of all their parcels and locate the nearest Post Office branches.

Mthoko Mncwabe, Sapo chief information officer, said: “This is intrinsic to our new strategy of modernising our services as a group.”

He said the Post Office is using technology to improve customers’ experience.

The app, South African Post Office, is available free of charge on the Google Playstore for Android devices and on the iStore for Apple devices. The app tracks and traces both South African and international parcels.
