2016-05-11 06:00

THE bail application of a man accused of murdering his sister’s 15-year-old child was turned down in the magistrate’s court in Kuruman on Monday (09/05).

According to Sgt Ntombi Manie, police spokesman, the hearing of Tebogo Peace Segoje was postponed to 10 June for further investigation.

The body of Natefo Segoje, a gr. 7 learner at the Seodin Primary School in Kuruman, was found in the drain at the Matopeng Primary School not far from her parent’s home on 5 April.

Her family said it was a difficult time for them since Segoje, uncle of Natefo, had been arrested on Freedom Day, 27 April, in connection with the murder.
