The organisers of the annual Bloem Show have guaranteed audiences value for money by keeping tariffs of tickets the same as last year. Elmarie Prinsloo, Bloem Show’s chief executive officer, says the decision to keep tariffs of tickets unchanged was aligned with two chief aspects – economy growth and to add value to consumers attending the show. “Bloem Show attempted to keep tariffs for 2018 as fair as possible, and to make it possible for people to attend the show in numbers and more than once. The 1% increase in VAT is applicable during the Bloem Show, but no increase has been made for this,” says Prinsloo. The show will take place from 26 April to 5 May in Bloemfontein. The theme this year is “Monsters and Mascots”. Prinsloo says this year’s show will continue to cater for everyone, from business people to families, farmers, men, children and women. “Plan your visit in advance and get value for money. There is also an opportunity this year to get R10 discount on admission tickets. Discount will apply to pre-sale tickets on purchase till 25 April,” says Prinsloo. There will be special rates at the show. These include two half-price days this year. Tickets can be purchased at Computicket outlets or the Computicket website. No “Passouts” will be permitted.
