Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. – Psalm 107:28 and 29

Life’s storms have a way of leaving us helpless and hopeless; making us want to throw in the towel and give up.

In times like these, we must remember that the Lord is a storm-blocker and a storm-stopper. He is able to calm our fears and place our feet on solid ground.

It does not matter what kind of storm is threatening your life – Jesus is able to stop that storm and save you from it.

Yes, it may look like you are going to die in it.

Yes, it may look like you are all alone; but wait until Jesus makes his appearance.

No mountain is too high, no storm is too strong, no valley is too deep for Jesus. He can do anything without failing.

Nothing pains Jesus more than hearing his children cry out to Him. He will do anything to deliver you from your distress.

You are the apple of His eye and He wants to see you safe and happy.

When Jesus was sleeping in the boat and the disciples became worried about the storm, they went to Him and cried out to Him.

He rebuked the wind simply by saying “be still”.

Jesus is our storm-stopper and is in the boat with us. All we have to do, is to have faith and cast all our cares upon Him.

No storm or circumstance is too great for Jesus.

The storm of unemployment, the storm of sickness and the storm of poverty will bow before Jesus. as He only says ‘peace be still.’

He invites all of us – all who are weary and heavy burdened – to come to Him.

He will give us rest for our souls.

No storm is too strong for Him, none whatsoever. He is able to save us from it unharmed. *He is my Storm Stopper.
