Okwuosah looks at moving to Pirates

REPORTS in South Africa have emanated that former Enugu Rangers centre-back, James Okwuosah, might be moving to the South Africa Professional Soccer League (PSL) side Orlando Pirates from Chippa United.

Okwuosah, who is the skipper of Chippa United, has been one of the stand-out defenders in the PSL this season and apparently he has been sounded out by the Soweto giants.

The 25-year-old’s contract with the side ends in June, though Chippa want to keep him, it seems that Pirates have got their man.

Okwuosah’s representative, Mohammed Lawal, was not willing to reveal the details as he insisted the player had options available to him and was studying it.

“Pirates are not the only side interested in Okwuosah. We have a couple of teams here in South Africa who are keen for his services,” Lawal told Supersport.com.

“We are talking to a few of them including his present club, but nothing is concrete as yet, as I speak to you.”

Okwuosah, who joined Chippa United from Ajax Cape Town, has two full caps for Nigeria.
