There has been a sudden change in the annual Mr and Miss Kimberley High Schools Pageant, which will be held on Friday (19/05).

This event, the third one to be hosted, was supposed to take place at the hall of the St Cyprian’s Grammar School, but it has been decided to move the event to the City Hall at Market Square.

This comes after a bigger hall was needed due to the increase in ticket sales.

The organisers of the event are very happy about this as they foresee that this year’s event will be even more successful than the previous ones.

“Both male and female contestants of the 11 schools are ready for the event after going through different preparatory sessions,” said Motheo Manaka of Manaka Productions.

  • The contestants for this year’s Mr and Miss Kimberley High Schools Pageant are:

Chad Mpisi and Arhena Maqina of the Northern Cape High School, Asaph Nieman and Yoneta Louw of the Kimberley Technical High School, Dineo Choagae of the St Patrick’s College, Linford Langeveld and Omphemetse Masego of the St Cyprian’s Grammar School, Melissa Dickson and Leani-Rae Robertson of Kimberley Girls’ High School, Kgotliso Malebo of the Kimberley Boys’ High School, Lwazi Mkau and Iviwe Sithebe of the William Pescod High School, Dillian Kwela of the Floors High School, Dineo Sebogodi and Thato Thupayagae of the Emang Mmogo High School and Tshenolo Prince Mongale and Nthabeleng Leine of the Tetlanyo Secondary School.
