Various sporting events will soon be held in Bloemfontein.

Table tennis tournament coming up

The Caleb Motshabi Table Tennis Club will host its annual tournament on 10 March in Bloemfontein. The club, under the leadership of owner and official David Kgabale, will host the event at the Dr Molemela Stadium Indoor Sports Centre.

The event, set to start at 08:00, will cater for u.13, u.15 and u.18 girls and boys, as well as senior men’s and women’s categories. The participation fee per player is R30 for juniors and R50 for seniors.

Schools invited

The Pamoja AC Schools Athletics Development League in Bloemfontein invites primary schools to register for this year’s programme, scheduled to start on 14 March.

The initiative, approved by Athletics Free State, is aimed at reviving athletics at primary school level.
