Plea made to family of deceased

The police in Kimberley are requesting the community to assist in finding the family of an adult female who died after being hit by a vehicle on Friday, 29 April 2016.

According to the police, the incident apparently occurred at approximately 22:00 on the Homelite R31 Road to the Barkly West T-junction.

Lt.Col Dimakatso Mooi confirmed that the woman had since been buried, although the police still needed her family to come forward.

The woman carried a bag with clothes and it is suspected that she was heading in the direction of Platfontein.

She has not been identified.
