Police looking for information on woman’s murder

The police in Qwaqwa requests public assistance regarding the murder of Flora Mampe Mokoena (46).

Her body was discovered by members of the community in the Monontsha Village on 15 May at 19:00.

According to the police she was shot dead by an unknown suspect.

WO Mmako Mophiring, police spokesperson, said a case of murder was opened.

He said the deceased was reportedly working as a security official in Welkom.

“The woman has been shot in the chest and the motive behind the shooting is unknown,” said Mophiring.

The police appeal to anyone with information that may lead to the arrest and conviction of a suspect to contact the nearest police station as soon as possible.
