In commemoration of Mandela Day on 18 July, the Infinity Health Medical Centre in Kimberley provi-ded a care package, inclu-ding a warm meal, for homeless people from the age of 13 to 36 years.

The initiative took place in collaboration with Chesa Nyama Kimberley and enthusiasm and excitement was the order of the day.

According to the health care centre, the beneficiaries are subjected to socio-economic degradation, and experience financial hindrances most of the time.

The intention was to assure them that they do not go unnoticed within their own society.

“The day was concluded with a mouth watering meal provided by Chesa Nyama, with beneficiaries leaving with a smile, high spirited and motivated to endure the upcoming cold front,” said Dr Ihsaan Ahmed of the Infinity Health Medical Centre.
