The Methodist Church of Southern Africa’s Bloemfontein Circuit Women’s Manyano (Women’s Prayer and Service Union) donated uniforms towards the learners housed at Dr Blok Secondary School hostel on 9 May. From the left are Florinah Potsane, Letshego Lekgela, Cathrine Maswabi, Juliet Olivier, Ntsoaki Aplane, Nozuki Mzaidune, Sandra Collens, Nozipho Lesako, Monica Ntsizakala, Ernest Peta, Suzan Horing and Betta Meyer. The learners were left distressed after some had their essentials destroyed by a fire that gutted the hostel early in January. The gesture of goodwill is a result of an effort by members of the Methodist Church Circuits Bicentenary, St John, St Peters, Heidedal Methodist, SJ Ditheko and St Thomas. Photo: Dan Xangaza
