Robbers target filling station

The police in the Free State appeal for the public’s ­assistance regarding an incident of five armed suspects robbing a filling ­station in Botshabelo on Monday (08/05) at about 03:10.

Sgt. Martin Xuma, Botshabelo cluster police spokesperson, said the robbers had ­reportedly taken an unknown amount of money from cash drawers and two drop-safes they had gained access to using explosives. He said the robbers had also forced pe­trol attendants to refill a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG before fleeing the scene.
