Run, walk for men with cancer

This year’s edition of the Mangaung Athletic Club and Hollard Prostate Cancer fundraising and awareness 5 km fun run and 5 km fun walk will be held at the Bloemfontein Achilles Club house on 16 March and will start at 17:00.

The race aims at promoting cancer awareness and encourage men to test for prostate cancer as well as other types of cancer.

The entry fee for the fun run and fun walk is R180 for adult men and R120 for boys.

Only men and boys are allowed to participate in the one-day fundraising event.

A purple speedo (underwear) will be provided for runners and walkers which they will wear during the course of the event.

The fundraising is an national event held on 16 March.

Proceeds from the one-day event will go towards the victims and survivors of cancer.
