Sasco takes stand against ‘anarchy’

2016-04-06 06:00

LEHLOHONOLO MANKE, regional secretary: Sasco

EDUCATION is our birth right; it cannot be treated as a privilege by those who seek political relevance.

We are not going to sit and observe and conform to anarchy.

Teaching and learning will not be disturbed by a few individuals who think because they can go around in their not-so-revolutionary red regalia, they can start to claim relevance.

The Maluti TVET College and any other institution within the Thabo Mofutsanyana region will not be a playground for political rejects to make a name for themselves.

We are here to make sure that there’s order here and order will be maintained.

We are the Youth League of the ANC; we are Sasco, the congress of students and we are the Real Communists of South Africa.

We are here to safeguard the future by protecting the present. I invite you to try again and again to bring anarchy.

Students are not going be used.

As the election catalysts, we shall neutralise you to the end.

We are not against progress, but we do not want progress that is anarchic and criminally neglects the rights of others.

We are members of the community before we are students, we are young lions of the ANC and we are preparing the future.
